Every calculator on StitchHow is free, with no usage limit and no account required, and that's not going to change. Running the site still costs money and time, and if you've found the tools genuinely useful, there are a few honest ways to help keep it going.

If a calculator saved you a trip back to the yarn shop for one more skein, or the Cast-On Calculator saved you from an off-multiple brim, a small one-time donation is the most direct way to say thanks. There's no subscription and nothing further asked of you — this is a tip, not a paywall around content that's otherwise free.

The Project Planner Pack

We also sell a small, one-time paid pack aimed at people planning several projects at once — printable worksheets and a compact reference sheet covering the same conversions and formulas the calculators use, useful if you like working offline or want something to tuck into a project bag. It's optional, and every calculator on the site works exactly the same whether or not you buy it.

Advertising

Some pages on StitchHow carry a small amount of site advertising. We keep it out of the way of the calculators themselves as much as possible, and it's one of the ways the site supports itself alongside donations and the planner pack — not a replacement for keeping the tools genuinely free to use.
