The calculators and reference content

StitchHow's calculators and reference pages are provided for planning purposes. We build every model and constant carefully and document our methodology openly, but yarn, fibre, and individual tension vary — treat every result as a planning estimate, not a guarantee, and always swatch and check gauge before committing to a full project.

Accuracy

We cite published industry standards directly where they exist and disclose our own calibration in full where a figure is our own model, on the methodology page. If you find an error, please tell us — we correct genuine mistakes.

Paid products

The Project Planner Pack is a one-time digital purchase. If you're unsatisfied with a purchase, contact us and we'll work it out directly.

Acceptable use

Don't use automated tools to scrape or overload the site's calculators or content. Everything the calculators compute is available to use freely through the normal interface.

Changes

We may update these terms as the site changes; the date at the top of this page reflects the last update.
